It's my first month charting and one of the dots is an open circle instead of filled in. Does that mean anything? I've also noticed on other peoples charts that the line connecting two dots isn't solid, but instead dotted. Can anyone help me to understand this so I can k ow what I'm looking at when I read my chart?

THe open circle means you either took your temp earlier or later than normal, or checked the 'fatigue' or 'lack of sleep' boxes.

The dotted cross hairs are because the fertility signs do not match up with the temp shift, or there are no fertility signs, such as cervical mucus. So FF is not sure what to do with the information.

^ Yep. The dotted lines connecting the dots (if they aren't crosshairs) could be because the person is missing a temp. for one of the days.

Thank you ladies so much. I did have a day of restless sleep
and checked that box, so that explains that.
