This morning when my alarm went off to take my BBT, I got out of bed and then immediately remembered I'm not supposed to do that before I take my temperature. So I got back in bed after about 2 seconds of standing and took my temperature and it was 97.01 which is a lot higher than my average of about 96.7. Could the 2 seconds of standing have messed with my BBT and caused it to go up that much, or do you think it's safe to say my BBT was just a little high today?

I don't think that it would make much difference doing that. I have done it plenty of times hehehe. Just remember not to concentrate on one temp too much, it's the overall pattern that matters. Our temps fluctuate from day to day and sometimes they are much higher than the previous ones, so next day they should be back to lower ones, unless you have ovulated. In that case they stay up. Good luck!

Thank you. We're not even TTC until next year, but I want to be a pro at charting for when we do lol. I guess I shouldn't freak out hahaha

That's a great idea! That's what I did too and it does help to get to know your body and your cycles
