What made you decide to begin fertility charting? Did you start right away when you began to ttc...or did you make it later in your ttc journey?

When TTC #1 I didn't start charting until Cycle #6 and I got pregnant on Cycle #7. This time I started charting about a month before I even got my first post-partum AF, just to see if I was ovulating or not. I wanted to see what was going on with my body from the very beginning of our TTC journey this time around.

We took an NFP course before we were married, so I started charting in preparation for both TTA and TTC.

I started charting months before we started TTC. I didn't know if I was ovulating since I have PCOS and it was one way to figure out if I did. Now I can't imagine not charting.

Because I was so irregular. My cycles used to be like clockwork, but after a stressful job or two they got really irregular. I might skip months with no AF. When I started TTC #2, I decided to chart to see if I could make it easier and learn stuff about my body at the same time.

I started charting during our pre-cana course. We decided to use NFP instead of hormonal birth control. We have been charting for about 10 years now, and have used it for both reasons, TTA and TTC.

Currently we are more in a TTA mindset, but I am thinking I am ready to TTC, just have to get DH on board.

We chart to avoid too. I've been charting off and on for 10 years or so.
