AAAAARGH. I just want to pop out an egg, already!!!! Is that too much to ask of my body?!

It's CD 18 and still no positive OPK. I did have EWCM on CD 16 and 17, but it was mostly dried up by the evening of CD17. I really don't know why I O so late. Pre-pregnancy I O'd CD 17 or 18 and post-partum it's been CD19 at the earliest and CD27 at the latest (that was my first PP cycle though). I don't have PCOS or anything (I don't think anyway, I've had a pelvic ultrasound that didn't show any cysts..) so I don't know why I just can't seem to ovulate earlier. Since last cycle was CD 19, I was really hoping to O at least by then, but it's not looking to hopeful.

Hi, I'll join! I'm a regular late ovulation girl, (CD 25-29, really?) and I just got put on Clomid this month to see if I can ovulate sooner. We saw polycystic ovaries on the u/s, but my doc says I don't have PCOS. I hope Clomid works!

Has anyone in this bunch tried vitex/chasteberry to try and encourage ovulation? I hear it's a natural alternative to drugs like Clomid, but I haven't been able to do much research about it yet.

Raises hand. My last cycle I didn't O until CD80!! So, I feel your pain. I am not over or under weight but may be polycystic... I've been irregular my entire life. When I am "regular" from being on the pill, etc. I have a 34 day cycle. My son is a clomid baby, but this time around I wanted my body to be normal daggonit!

Jes, I am trying out Fertilaid and have been on it about 3 weeks now. It brought on my period after only a few days of being on it and now I'm on CD13 and getting lots of EWCM which I've never had before. It's working for me so far, but fingers are crossed that it brings on ovualtion sooner rather than later. I'll keep you posted. Let me know if you need additional info about Fertilaid.

I can join too, but I think I finally ovulated two days ago on CD 37! I was just at Whole Foods and saw Vitex but I don't know much about so I didn't get it. I'm going to research a bit first. I've never tried Fertilaid either

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Ive been there on the "is O going to ever happen" boat a few times, mostly being on the Clomid. Seemed to make mine later on in my cycle than usual. Being on Femara this month though helped make it happen a little sooner. I've read about other girls taking Vitex but I have not tried it.

I took Vitex when I was breastfeeding to try to bring on ovulation/AF so we could start actively TTC again. It didn't work for that, I had to wean in order to start ovulating, but I did have really good EWCM the first time I ovulated after weaning. I stopped taking it as soon as I got my PPAF, I wish now that I had stayed on it b/c it's supposed to take 3 months to build up in your system..
