Hey ladies, I'm brand new at charting. All my other kids, I've just BD'd until it happened lol. My last baby took us 21 months to conceive. (2 of those months I was in Europe )

I want to conceive earlier than that this time around. I am nursing and have not yet had a PP AF. I was also diagnosed with PCOS but the blood test said I ovulated normally I am getting a copy of my medical records soon so I hope that will have some answers.

I am going to start taking my temp tomorrow. How do I know what day 1 of my cycle is if I'm nursing?

Also did anyone hear that Robitussin is supposed to make you fertile?

Thanks ladies!

i would just jump into charting. Don't worry about being cd1. It's almost impossible to tell at this point. Some people dont ovulate while BFing, but some do, and you may be able to pinpoint your ovulation by charting.

As for the robitussin, it supposedly increases your amount of fertile cm. Didn't really do anything for me.

with Alice... Just jump on in! At the very least, it'll give you a bit of a glimpse into what your body is doing, even if it's not doing all the things you'd like it to at the moment.

As for Robitussin, I tried it and it did work very well for me... until I went on Clomid. That pretty much wiped out 90% of my EWCM.

This is a fabulous board full of wonderful information. I am on my 15th cycle TTC and I've learned SOOOO much from charting. For example, yesterday's temp was in the basement and my initial thought was "I'll bet that means my progesterone numbers are low"... sure enough after my b/w, they came back low.

If I weren't charting, I never would've known that and I probably would've been all down in the dumps after hearing my results. So yeah... Jump on in!!!

Welcome! I'm somewhat new to charting as well, and the ladies here have been great!

I temp in the morning, text it to myself and then hit snooze! Then I update it on my iPhone when I'm at a traffic light or the Dunkin Donuts drive through on my way to work!

Texting it to yourself?!? That's too funny!

I used to temp then roll over and go back to sleep. Now I'm wide awake after temping, so I get up.

It's actually nice being a morning person for a change. DH has always been a morning person... he used to be lucky if I got out of bed by 10 or 11! Now I'm up by 7am 7 days a week!

I figure it's good training for when I've got a little one who won't let me sleep!
