So my doc put me on 500 mg of Metformin yesterday. I took my first pill last night before bed. I've been charting and my temps have ranged from low 96 to 97. Last night I had sticky CM, and today I have blood on the tp, I wouldn't call it spotting, it's a little more than that but not full on AF.
I haven't had AF since I got pregnant (right around Dec 1 2008) and I'm BFing.
I don't know what to make of it because I think MET doesn't start working for a few weeks at least so I doubt it would have started AF already. I'd ask your doctor about it.

I was on it before Ava because I have PCOS. I stopped JUST before I got pregnant and the doc prescribed it again since we're TTC. It's helped me drop weight in the past and regulate me.
I don't know if Metformin would work that fast. When I was on it many years ago, I remember having spotting in between periods all the time, it felt like I had AF all the time. But I don't know if it would work that fast. It could just be the beginning of AF naturally? Is your flow bigger today? We don't usually consider spotting CD1, not until you have real flow
