If I can't preggo on my own, then we'll go back on clomid next Summer since it worked like a charm for my son. I just want my body to do what it's supposed to do on it's own.

We're following the guidelines in Taking Charge of Your Fertility, which says to start getting checked out after 4-6 cycles of well-timed BDing with no pregnancy. This is cycle #6 and DH is getting a SA in a couple of days and I have a checkup on July 1.

I think I will wait couple of more cycles. I've only really had 2 cycles including this one. So by the time fall rolls around, I guess.

It took us 21 months this last time.. so if we're hitting the two year mark, we'll take the next step.

We tried for 2 1/2 years before going to the RE. They did tons of testing and can't find any reason for our problems. He said we could move on to IUI or IVF but because there is no apparent reason why I can't get pregnant he can't really say that it would increase my chances anyway. We decided to go back to TTC on our own. We took a NTNP break for a while, but are going to start actively TTC again soon I think.
I'm also starting nursing school too though, and if we haven't gotten pregnant by the time I am out of school and working we will either try IUI or else just move right on to adoption.

It took us 14 cycles to get pregnant with my daughter, she was the longest and it turned out my thyroid was not right, I was medicated and had normal levels, but as soon as they increased my dose I got pregnant the next cycle.
I think since I am over 30, if we had difficulty again after well timed intercourse I would seek help after 6-10 cycles.

We've seen my OB and both DH and I have had some testing. I'm on progesterone and my OB suggested with see an RE but I'm not ready to go that route (we got pregnant with DS on cycle # 2 and we were pregnant last fall after a few cycles...and had a m/c so I feel like we should be able to get pregnant on our own.

I did a short 2-3mos on Clomid starting at like cycle #9 or something. I went to an RE at cycle #14. Did 4 rounds of Femara/IUI and got pg on that 4th round. I don't think we'll consider that route again until 1yr actively trying.

6 months (which will be October) only bc I'll be turning 35 in November and we are TTC #1. Also bc my mom had major infertility issues and it took her 12 years to get PG with me.

Yeah, but it was also the late 60s to early 70s, and they didn't know everything they know now. Plus my GYN doesn't think I have any of her issues, but I guess you don't know until you go in there....sigh.
