I'm such a dork

I do this every month as AF is approaching. I come up a new, fool-proof plan for the next cycle. I think the only thing that keeps me sane while TTC is always trying something new. I figure if what we've been doing isn't working, why not try something new? So next cycle I'm going to try...*drumroll, please*....

Geritol and Lemon Water.

I'm lame I know. I'll try anything that won't kill me. But on the TTCMA board (where I lurk sometimes figuring that my time to join there is coming...) a couple of ladies who had major issues conceiving in the past got pregnant after 2 months of trying it. So I bought a bottle of Geritol Complete and 20 lemons yesterday at Walmart . I'm not sure about the Geritol. The ingredients aren't that different from the Prenatal I've been taking. It does have more/different minerals. The only thing I can see that would help at all TTC-wise is that is has quite a bit more Vitamin A (6000 IU), and according to TCOYF 5000-8000 IU is supposed to help with EWCM. As far as the lemon water goes, it is supposed to cleanse your body of toxins, not sure if i believe that. BUT it is supposed to raise the PH of your body and in turn your CM, making it more alkaline. Since I've always worried that my CM is too acidic or something, it's worth a try I guess.

So MountainMomma just posted about that! I hadn't heard of it before. But, hey....anything is worth a shot! I read up a little on the Geritol last night...I get nervous about taking medicines/vitamins that I don't know anything about. The lemon water I could do though!

I always like to try something new or have some kind of an appointment or something each cycle now. It at least makes me feel like I have some kind of control over something I really have no control over...

I don't know if I would try geritol, but I would definitely try lemon water! How do you do it, just squeeze one lemon and add water to it? I love lemons!

I think it's actually just half a lemon and then add 8-12 ounces of warm water. You are supposed to drink it first thing in the morning and if you want, another one at night. It's pretty good!
