I just joined JM recently but have yet to post over here. I'm definitely a veteran at charting and temping but it's been a few years. I have my old BB therm but decided since it's a few years old I'd go ahead and buy a new one. Thinking now maybe I should have just stayed with old and faithful.
I bought a Target brand BBT. I've been temping and charting for 2 weeks at least now. No clue where I am in my fertility life because I was on depo for 9 months and I haven't had a cycle since Oct. Last shot was November. So I'm patiently waiting but trying to see if I can make heads or tails of what my body is doing. I feel ovulation cramping off and on but it seems to stall out each time.
Anyways, the BBT I have always seems to say my temp is 97.33 very often. So often it's almost got me wondering if it's a dud. Not 2 seconds later I can test again and it'll jump to 97.73. I'm a stickler about not making movement until temping is done, it's done the same time every morning, etc. I know the rules and how quickly your temp rises after waking.
I'm not sure if I should change the battery and see if that helps or just purchase a new one or try using my old one. Is there any that you ladies recommend as pretty accurate?
