Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am really confused on the subject lol!! Do you use a normal mouth thermomater or do you buy a special one?? And exactly how far would you insert it!!

Not a stupid question at all. You can just use your regular oral BBT to temp vaginally. I wouldn't recommend switching back and forth though. Haha! I just use my BBT solely for vaginal temping but only after my oral temp was all over the place. I insert it about an inch or 2 - basically right up to the little temp window. Hope this helps. GL!

i have a question about vag temping too...i temped vaginally pre-brylie, but i always was afraid my temps were more inaccurate because theres so much more movement taking place before the temp?

How do you ladies "do" it? kwim? Do you wear short shorts with no undies to bed? Sleep nekkid? what do you do?

I feel most comfortable sleeping in the buff to begin with so I never had to worry about panties when I temp, but I would imagine you could just push the panties to the side.

I was told I could use a regular digital thermometer to do my BBT as long as it read out the tenths of a degree, and that's what I use. I can accurately pinpoint ovulation with it. I put it in an inch or two as well.
