Do you prefer a male or a female doctor? What gender is your doctor now?

I prefer female doctors. I don't have an OB now and my regular doctor is a woman. I've only been to her once since I'm fairly new to the city and haven't had much of a chance to visit doctors

I prefer male doctors. I've never had a male hurt me when checking my cervix, but every last woman has. Fingernails maybe?

I also don't have an OB at the moment, and my last one retired. My regular doctor is a man, though.

Both of my OBs (first one with my first three kids, then I moved, second one with my youngest) have been female. I don't want a male doc for personal reasons.

My OB is a woman and my RE is a man.

I've been pretty happy with both of them... but I do prefer when my RE's assistant (woman) does my u/s's... she's more gentle with that thing!
