O'ing for 3 days?

So I've been using OPK's, trying to catch my egg, so we can try and time it just right. LH levels have been high for 3 days now, with yesterday and today's lines 5 times darker than the control line. I tested twice yesterday and both times were REALLY dark, ran out and bought another 6 pack at the $ store, took it, an it's still really dark. DH knows we are trying, but prefers to not know the mechanics of it, says it puts him off his game..lol. I have been trying to find new ways of seducing him for a week now, poor guy works 12 hours a day, and then comes home and lets me attack him.

He's being gracious, and I'm sure knows what's up. We have BD everyday for over a week. Until the levels go down, or stop being so dark on the stick, I wanna keep trying.

How long will LH levels usually stay high? I figured after the one day, it would have subsided.

Are you sure that you haven't already ovulated and that you OPK's are picking up the pregnancy hormone? If you are sure you are not pregnant, that it could be that your body is gearing up to O, but hasn't done it yet. I would count 24-48 hours from the last positive you get as O time.

Are you temping?

No on the temping, I have tried it, but just cant seem to get in a routine of doing it. I go to bed at all odd hours of the night, and my waking schedule isn't set either becauseof work hours changing.

I did some looking around online and found that I guess there is a difference between a true positive and a high level positive. Yesterday the test line was so dark that it stole almost all the color from the control line. It had been that way all day. I used my last one yesterday evening and it was still really dark. I had to go to the store earlier and got another small pack of just cheap OPK's and it's still a true + with the test line almost stealing the color from the control. All day I have had twinges in my lower left side...like crampy flutters. Gonna try to BD again tonight.
