WWYD? Vent

(sorry in advance if some of this is babbling) Okay so a couple of weeks ago I started having some early pregnancy symptoms (very sore breasts, nausea, fatigue..). I tested once fairly early (not sure how many DPO because I just started charting midway through that cycle) and it was BFN and tested again a few days ago and again was BFN. My temps dropped on CD24 and I was confused because AF wasn't due for 5-6 more days. Well, the next day my temp was low again and AF showed up that night. AF has NEVER come early before--especially not this much and it is usually only lasts 3-4 days. Today is day 4 and last night it seemed like it had stopped because there wasn't anything on 2 tampons I used. On day 2 I had a fairly large clot and this morning the flow got heavier again and I had a large clot (bigger than a quarter but probably not quite half dollar size) which again is NOT normal for me. I still have the symptoms mentioned before: sore breasts, nausea, fatigue (I slept 14 hours from Friday to Saturday) and that along with this abnormal period is confusing and concerning me.
If you made an appt with your doctor, would you see your Gyno or your PC? I'm wanting to avoid going to the Dr right not because my new insurance goes into affect this Friday (the 16th) and I'm afraid if I go before that and something is wrong that my new insurance won't cover it. I really just don't know what to do. Thanks for letting me vent

I'm guessing you probably ovulated earlier than you normally do, and so your period came sooner.
As for the clots, it's normal to get them during AF, not necessarily every cycle. At least I've always been told that its normal.
But what you're describing doesn't sound too worrisome, if you chart completely this cycle and everything is normal, it was probably just a one-time-fluke, and there would be no reason to go see a doctor if you don't want to.

I can't seem to remember, but have you used BCP and then stopped? If yes, then maybe that's the reason your period is not normal for you. If not, then I would just watch what your next period would be like and not worry too much about it just yet. Have you been stressed a lot?

I haven't been on BC for almost a year now so it wouldn't be that. I *did* think I could be pregnant and that was really stressing me out (hoping) so that's probably what did it.
