I was checking my CP this afternoon and felt a bump on my cervix that I haven't noticed before. Anyone have any experiences with something like this, and if so, what did you do?

Thanks for any help!

I had a cyst on my cervix before but I don't think it was a big deal. My OB told me it looked benign. It wasn't there the next time she looked. Other than that...I have no idea.

I have a bump on my cervix that has been there for months. It just popped up one day. I am going for my yearly soon, so I will ask about it then.

I haven't had that experience, but I think you should go check it out. That's my answer to any new bumps that appear on my body

I agree. It is probably nothing to worry about but I would get in to see your doctor just to be on the safe side. How long has it been since you've had a PAP?

I've had these before... They are called Nabothian cysts, are completely harmless and resolve themselves.

You can certainly ask your doc about it, but I'm pretty sure you're okay.

Hope that helps...

I have a bump on mine that I noticed a few yrs ago after I had my second DS when I started ttc again. I asked my doc when she was giving me a pap and she said it was normal . I still having it but it hasn't changed size and doesn't hurt . I would deff ask your doc to make sure you are ok!

Thanks for the responses, gals. I'm calling doc today anyway, so I'll be sure to mention it.
