I have a chart going but have no idea where and how to share it with you guys so you can help me. I'm using : MyMonthlyCycles

Also....When do I start using my OPK's? My cycle is usually 28 days.........and, when I do detect an LH surge........when do we try? When should I take the OPK tests (time of day?) And...one more question, sorry........As I chart my temps....what am I looking for to indicate ovulation etc.....poiss pregnancy?

The month before last (June)...I had just stopped the pill and was not trying. I did, however, use a cheap, cheap OPK (paper strips and all)...and detected an lh surge for 5 days............the line was deff the same color or darker! Ob said could have been a mistake. I didn't to it last month but I did have a blood test to detect my lh surge one day....I ended up having the surge on the 13th (the day I had my blood done)...the blood was drawn from me at 9:30 AM. I had started my cycle (first day of period) on July 1st. So...apparently my lh surge was on day 13. Does that mean anything? DH and I will prob only be able to BD every other day....so I want to make sure we pick the right days!!

Thanks for the help.....hopefully I will be pro soon!!!

I'm not familiar with My Monthly Cycles, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

In some materials I've read, they say with a 28 day cycle you should start after AF goes away. I usually wait until cd 10, but I know others begin at different times. You can BD whenever after getting a positive OPK. Some things I've read say to do it everyday, others say every other.

You should see your temperature go up for at least 3 days to indicate that you've ovulated. I know on Fertility Friend it will tell you based on your temps, OPKs, etc. when it thinks you've O'd. Typically in a pregnancy chart your temps go up and stay up....but a lot of us on here have seen some interesting charts (both pregnancy and non-pregnancy ones) so you just never know!

Best of luck!

interesting ...thanks!!!!! =0) So ...you usually have ovulated when your temp has risen for 3 days? So does that mean that once it starts to rise, O has already happened? How much does it usually rise by? I have been charting for only 4 days..and the numbers have all been like 97.99, 97.57, 79.86...etc
