I've been MIA due to our interwebs being completely down. We thought the modem had died, so we went and bought a new one last night. DH installed it & called Comcast twice to get it set up, but something else was wrong, so they had to send a tech out. I now have interwebs again!!!

Here's the Reader's Digest version of what's goin' on here... If you want AAAALLLL the details, they're in my journal: http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f3...e-1-a-136.html

AF came in proper force by Sunday evening. Had some cramps yesterday, but nothing like what I'm used to. They were super mild... so YAY for that.

Yesterday I called the office to report AF and make an appt to speak to the doc. I was hoping to get in as soon as possible so that we wouldn't have to sit a cycle out from doing something because I got in too late, ya know? They wound up giving me an appt. for 9:00 this morning. CD 3.... I'll take it!

Sat down with my doc and we've decided our next step is Clomid & IUI.

I have between 16-18 follies right now between my two ovaries. The PA said what my lining was, but I couldn't really hear and I was still sniffling and stuff. Once they finished up, they said they wanted me to have b/w too. They called around 1:30 and said that my b/w shows I'm definitely "baseline", so I'm to start 50mg of Clomid tomorrow and come back in on Thursday the 12th at 9:30.

There's a little part of me that's kind of excited about doing Clomid this time because for the first time I'm gonna be monitored properly with u/s's. I haven't seen a whole lot of success stories with natural IUI's... I haven't seen much on IUI's around here period to tell you the truth.

Clomid didn't work on it's own... IUI didn't work on it's own... Maybe putting the two together will be my silver bullet.

Yay! Welcome back... it's not the same around here without you! I'm so glad you have a plan of action for the next cycle. It's a great feeling - like a new beginning. I truly hope the new combo does the trick for you!! I'll be waiting with baited breath to find out!

Thanks Leah! You're sweet...

I do feel a little more excited, even though I've done the Clomid thing before, I'm pairing it up with something extra this time... so it is kind of new.

I just to God with everything I've got that it actually works!

I hope it works for you!! I took Clomid for 3 cycles and it did nothing for me. I had KILLER s/e so when I was referred to the RE, I asked for Femara instead. It gave me less mature eggs but they were bigger and I had zero s/e. Are you going to do the trigger? I HIGHLY recommend doing the trigger.

Yeah... I did 4 rounds of Clomid with my OB, but it was Clomid by itself... not with IUI.

I responded really well to it... so hopefully it'll make more eggs for DH's swimmers to catch! Not sure about the trigger... this is my first "medicated" cycle with my RE, so I'm in a bit of new territory.

Is there a reason why you chose Clomid again after you've already done 4 cycles of it before? Were those cycles monitored?
