Hello, im married w/ 4 girls. I had my daughter on May 16,2010. On june 25 I had brown spotting for 5 days. so i considered that my period. i used opk's and got a positive on cycle day 12. we bd'd the next day then on cycle day 15. I got a positive hpt on cycle day 23. but on july 26th strted my cycle. on days 5-9 i took 100mg of clomid. with my 3rd baby i took clomid also and ovulated a little later than usual. im on cycle day 11 now. Will i get a positive surge on cd 12 again or a surge later cuz of the clomid? whats the best advise to concieve a boy? posted in the gender forum but they r not really active. i havent gotten the cramps like i had before while i was on clomid will i still get cramping? if anyone could help that would b great!

It's tough to say because everyone reacts differently on clomid. Your body may actually vary from cycle to cycle on clomid. Are you using OPK's to predict ovulation? If not I highly recommend doing so, so you don't miss your surge. I for one O later on clomid. As for TTC a boy, it's better to BD as close to O as possible because they boy spermies are quick but tire easily. Where as girl spermies are slower and but last longer. OPK's should help you predict O and just BD as close to O as possible - of course nothing is fool proof. GL!
