Has anyone used the first response opk's before? If so r they good? on what cycle day did it detect the surge and for how long?

I personally use IC's (internet cheapies), but that's only because I POAS a lot and my cycles are crazy! I have heard good things about the first response OPK's though. As far as when they detect a surge... it varies depending on your cycle. Looks like you have a typical 28 day cycle, so I would start using OPK's on CD9 or 10 and you should expect to see a surge soon if you typically O on CD 14 or 15. I noticed in a previous post that you are on clomid so you may O later than usual. Start POAS now a couple of times a day with OPK's so you don't miss your surge. GL!

I used them one cycle only because they sucked for me! They kept giving me positives for 5 days straight, whereas my usual CBEs only give me two days of positives. I don't remember what CD it was, and anyways that depends on the person.. I hope they work for you!!

I used these and got pregnant! They are not my favorite though. They are bit too sensitive. It picked up my surge and it continued for days.I had to depend on my temps to identify o day. With ICs i can usually isolate down to the day.
