My chart is saying I O'd on CD 13 and I know that I O'd on CD 15. It switched this morning when I put my temp in from CD 15 to 13.

So, as you can see, this morning I had a MAJOR temp drop. I know I've O'd, so maybe it is a fallback rise? I heard there is a surge of estrogen at 3-4 DPO, is that true?

Also, I took my temp at 5 AM rather than 6 AM, but it shouldn't really effect it all that much. Then, I slept until 8:45 and retook my temperature just for fun, and it was 98.31. Is it normal for my temp to jump 1.3* in just 3 hours?

And, my final concern is my CP. WHen I checked it at 5, it was low, VERY firm and facing towards the back, just like it did before AF came last cycle. Then, when I checked it later this morning, it was MFC and facing UP. I know the cervix can change a lot during the day, but that seems like a big change.

My chart is alll over the place. I was hoping for a normal, easy to interpret chart, but NOOO. Obviously, I am just going to have to wait and see, but any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, and you can get to my chart from the ticker in my siggie.

Wow! That is one heck of a drop!

If you did O on CD 15, then you're only 4 dpo. The temp drop could be from a secondary estrogen surge due to the increasing amount of estrogen produced by the corpus luteum.

As for your temp jump after 3 more hours of sleep... The general rule of thumb is your temperature can rise up to one-tenth of a degree for every 30 minutes taken later than normal and fall one-tenth of a degree for every 30 minutes taken earlier than normal.

Again, that's just a general rule of thumb... not everyone's body will respond in exactly that way... some temps will show a larger increase/decrease than others.

Hope that helps...

Wow that is a low dip.. and you are only getting dotted crosses hairs, so there may be a change in your charts still! I can see why they would say that the cd13 was the day you O'd..if that was thec case then you'd be 6dpo.. so dare I say implantation?

Well, I am pretty positive I O'd on CD 15 because I had + OPK's, EWCM and HSO cervix. I didn't have any signs of O on CD 13. My chart is just whacky this cycle.

Hmmm... I still think you O'd on CD 15 and your temp this morning is throwing the CH's off. I bet the next few days temps will move your CH's back to CD15... if not, you may have to disregard the really low temp. In my experience, temping an hour early usually means a significantly lower temp. CD13 or CD15 - either way looks like you got BD covered! Hope this helps... GL!

I don't agree with FF. I think you are right and that you O'd on CD 15. The drop could be because you took it so early.

Ditto but it's odd. As long as you got at least 3-4 straight hours of sleep, the actual time isn't going to make that huge of a difference, esp not 1hr. Hopefully, it'll be back up in the morning and the temp drop was just a fluke. I'd get in some BDing JIC!
