Ok ladies, I'm looking for some yummy summer time drinks (alcohol free for us TTCers, of course). What are some of your favorite recipes?

This isn't in any mixed drinks that I know of, but I'll throw up my favorite fruit smoothie recipe.

My blender holds six cups, and the fruit is roughly eye-balled.

1 ½ c of organic blueberry/acai berry juice
2 small-medium bananas
a large handful of frozen mango pieces
a small handful of frozen sliced strawberries
fill to top with frozen blueberries

after everything frozen thaws(I usually make this the night before I blend it), fill to top with ice and blend

You can add milk in with your juice if you like. You can also add ½ c yogurt. I sometimes get like a lemon Yoplait to add to the creaminess and give it a tiny bit of tart.

This usually serves 3. DH, me, and DD have these for breakfast.

If you want a virgin daiquiri, you might try getting the frozen strawberry can at Walmart, making it up, and topping with whipped cream.

We've been doing homemade soda.

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
* Place in pot and warm til sugar dissolves
* Add zest of a lime, lemon or orange or other fruit of your choice and allow to steep for about 3 minutes
* You can leave the zest/fruit in or strain it out. (I strain it out)
* Pour seltzer water over ice and add syrup to taste.

Our other favorite is the Arnold Palmer
1 part iced tea
1 part lemonade
Sugar, to taste
Garnish: lemon, mint, or a slice of kiwi
