Hi ladies -- I just joined FertilityFriend. To get an idea of how the website works, I put my AF's in for the last three years. I'm just now learning about TTC, but I have been tracking my cycles for three years because they are irregular.

Anyway, is there some "bug" with FF that they won't "recognize" cycles over 50 days?? All I've done for all my cycles is enter the cycle start date. I know how long AF lasted for each cycle, but without knowing how how heavy they were, I don't want to enter this information in. (I will exclude these charts from the stats anyway once I start really charting, due to the fact that they are very incomplete).

But based on the information I entered, some of my charts state that the cycle length is only 1 day, and it's all the cycles that are over 50 days. Once I actually start tracking everything, will this affect that statistics? About 1/3 of my cycles seem to be over 50 days.

Am I making sense?

I've only had 2 cycles over 50 days with FF, but it does list them as 55, and I'm on CD 69 now. Stressful cycle. But it does show the real numbers. Maybe with some more information, it wouldn't have. It might think you had made a mistake since there are no temps.

Did you indicate menstruation one day and then not hate next day and then added some later? If so it may be starting a new cycle on the day you 'restarted' AF. You have to put in SOMETHING for flow on everyday you had flow, if not it automatically starts a new cycle. There is a feature where you can merge cycles though, so you may want to do that to fix it.

Thanks ladies, I'll look into it. All I did was "Start a New Cycle" and entered the first date for each cycle... I didn't enter any period information and the only cycles listed are the ones I entered. Now that I look closer, it looks like it ended the graphs for my cycles on my "predicted" period days, but is still saying the cycle was only one day. Frustrating for me, I'll try to enter the days for my periods and see if this fixes things!

Okay, so I just entered the AFs for some of the cycles and it fixed most of them (yay, it's showing the 55 day cycle!). But for one of the cycles I entered it is saying the cycle is only 5 days, just the days of AF! (and this is a 64 day cycle!) The graph ends after my "predicted" period after 41 days. Sigh. I like how intuitive this website is, but it's frustrating for me as I fill it out.

I'll have to take more time to figure this all out. I guess I am just impatient to see all the features! It might be some time before I get AF again and can enter all my information.

Do you mean the graph is only showing a few days? Sometimes the graph will show it short, but the information will indicate how many days it really was. In that case go to the last day of the cycle and input something, anything at all, and then the graph will include the entire cycle.
