Can some of you "experts" take a look at my chart? This is my first cycle after I finally got AF after coming off BCP (took three months!). I haven't ovulated yet, right?

Also, this morning I took my temp at 6:15 (96.40), when my first alarm went off, and then fell asleep for an hour and took it again at 7:15 (97.50), when my second alarm went off. I recorded the first one, as everyone on here always seem to suggest, but it's such a huge temp difference in only an hour that I had to come here and ask. If I should have recorded the second, it might be the temp shift I have been waiting for. If not, then I guess I keep BDing and awaiting O.

In general, this cycle's chart has been jumping around like crazy. I don't like it I've been looking at other girls' charts and they are so nice and neat and all the temps are close together... Jealous!

Help!

Keep BDing, hopefully your hormones will stablize soon. What BCP were you tkaing? Some take longer to get out of your system.

It doesn't look like it. I'm sorry the hormones are still in your system. I hope you catch an egg this mo though! (note the second temp and compare it to tomorrows temp. Maybe you'll see a pattern or something...) How was your CM today?

Yasmin can take a LONG time for some women to stabilize after coming off. Give it some time.

CM... Hmm, well I can't say I am good at determining what kind I have. I do know that it's NOT EWCM but I can't really tell the difference between watery and creamy as of yet. I don't know... When my chart says watery that means than on those days I felt pretty wet (and horny!) but it wasn't like it was gushing out of me (I know, TMI!!). I think I've yet to see real EWCM What kind of stuff do you look for in CM? Do you take some from inside (what I am try to do) or is it so abundant for you guys that it's all over your underwear and the opening? I guess I am still clueless on what to look for. When I take some from inside it seems to always be at least wet in there...

This morning the temp was up to 97.52 though! Makes me think that yesterday's 97.50 was more accurate than the 96.4 but I guess we'll see what happens over the next few days...

I think watery on FF is supposed to mean a consistency. I don't like FFs cm options personally. I think it's supposed to mean a very thin watery ewcm, but I never really get that. I think it could also be confused with arousal fluid... Milky, creamy, lotiony are all the same per tcoyf. EWCM, slippery, lubricative, are also all the same per tcoyf.

Personally I almost never have CM that hits my panties. I'm older (30), and have had cervical surgeries that have probably damaged my glands. I produce a lot less cm then when I was 5 years younger. Because I'm a lot drier then I used to be, I check at the cervix. You don't have too if you notice it on your panties. Wet per TCOYF I think also is supposed to mean how it presents on your panties, but I'm not sure how FF interprets it. The two have different setting for their software. Like wet would be more of a round spot on your panties where drier CM would be more oval like or something. I can't remember...

Thanks.

Yeah, I am about to turn 32 and have also had a couple of surgeries (fibroids etc.) so I am sure I am not pristine down there. I don't remember what it was like before pill either so this is all kinda new to me. I never paid attention before...

About a month after I got off BCP though I had this huge glob of egg white-y stuff come out on toilet paper once so I think I know what EWCM looks like, at least. Trouble was I didn't get AF until two months after that happened so I have no idea why it was even there. I also haven't seen anything like that since and certainly not this cycle.

I have a very easy time getting aroused so I am never sure what it is I am feeling when I check for CM - it never really dry in there, always kinda wet and creamy. Come to think of it all I've really seen of CM has been kinda creamy/lotiony/opaque. The whole time since I've been paying attention the last couple of months. So I am just really confused, by my temps (which are, as you can see, all over the place), by my CM, by this whole TTC thing I am really not why AF even came at the end of July because I don't think I am sure that I O'd. Not sure what I can do here except wait and see, I guess. The only thing I can think of is changing to temping in my vagina instead of orally, to maybe give temps a bit more consistency. Otherwise...

I HIGHLY recommend you get Taking Charge Of Your Fertility book while you're waiting for your cycles to regulate. It'll help explain all your questions.

A follow-up... Of course, the temp I asked the original question about had reared its ugly head in retrospect...

If I recorded the second temp, my O date would change from the current tentative one on CD22 to a more solid CD 21. If I do change my CD22 temp to 97.5 instead of the superlow, weird 96.4 I almost think that my O may have really happened on CD19 when I had other symptoms. What do you guys think? If it was CD19, yesterday's dip *may* have been implantation, right?

Am I overthinking it?!?!

I got the TCOYF book so we'll see if I am less clueless the next cycle...

I think it would have been too early for an implantation dip. It could have been a fall back temp, or a second estrogen surge.

Hmm, I thought 7DPO was a pretty average date for an implantation dip... OK, well so far I've left my temp as is, am at 6DPO with temps still up so sounds like I at least O'd, right? I'd be happy knowing just that

Oh, I followed you wrong!! I really don't think you Oed on CD 19. I agree with FF's date of CD22 (going on temps).

Well, actually after reading TCOYF a bit, I decided to follow rule of thumb and discard that ultra-low CD22 temp and FF now gives me solid crosshairs on CD19 with today being 10DPO...

I don't know... That chart looks way more correct to me... Next cycle I will temp vaginally to get some semblance of normalcy back. I really think oral temping is too all-over-the-place for me.
