Just curious. I made the mistake of starting to chart mid cycle. I had ovulation pain at cd 11 or 12 and then twinges in belly on cd 18 and spotting at cd 20. My temps since I started at cd 18 have been high 98.3 or higher..... you think I ovulated??

It's really hard to tell without a visual and pre-O temps. It sounds like you probably did if you had O pains. Do you normally spot around ovulation?

I never had spotting before.

It's the overall pattern that counts, not how high or low the temps are. When you see 3 higher than the previous 6 ones, you can be pretty confident of ovulation. If you start tempting too late to see that shift from lower to higher, you can hope...but you can't be sure.

I agree with the ladies above me . I would just ride out the rest of this cycle with no more temping and see if you get a BFP .If not start temping next cycle. I start 1 to 2 days after af .
