How many of you were able to conceive on your first month of TTC?

Here is why I'm asking...I just started a new job at the beginning of August. Hubby and I REALLY want to start TTC #1. I'm going to be 30 years old this year and I feel the clock ticking!! Hubby and I had decided to start trying in November, so I will be at my job 1 year by the time the baby is born. However, I have serious baby fever!! I really want to start trying in October. I feel like there is a slim chance that I will actually get pg the first month we try. Am I right? How many of you were actually able to conceive the first month you tried?

I usually O around day 20 and my LP is only 10 days. I'm a little worried that we might have trouble conceiving. Should we start TTC a month early??

My LP was around 7 days when I conceived DD. It's about 11 days now. You should be fine with 10 days. =) I know a lady that had 3 kids with a 7 day LP.

I "tried" for two years by BD on the fertile days, and it never worked. The first month we decided to just have a good sex life and BD every other day or every day was the month we conceived. Most of the friends I have get pregnant just by BD every 1-2 days between periods.

Just have plenty of BD, and you will have a good chance of conceiving if everything is normal.

For us, it's usually years... I wish we could get pregnant the 1st try! But it is totally possible, I now lots of ladies who have!
