Hi everyone. I'm going to start temping. I work until 1am-2:30am. Most of you ladies temp when you get up. I'm not temping at 6am so when should I? I usually sleep until eleven, noon, or 1pm. I'm on CD1. When do I start? Thanks for answering my questions that are probably so obvious...

I work night shift, too (hopefully not for long!). I've heard you're supposed to temp everyday at the same time. I would set my alarm for 11:00 or whatever time would work for you. Just make sure you write it down so you don't forget! Since you're on CD1, I would start today! I just started temping, too. Unfortunately, I only work 3 days per week (because they're 12 hour shifts) so my times feel like they're going to be all over the place...

Good luck to you!

I agree! As long as you've had at least 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep, you should be ok

Thanks ladies The BBT thermometer hasn't arrived yet from Amazon. I'm already CD 5, so when is the latest I can start temping and still have an accurate chart? Do I have to wait until next cycle? Thanks again SO MUCH for your answers!

I started CD 2 or 3. I would start whenever you get it. Even if you can't really tell anything based off of the temps you'll be able to compare next month.

I work part time night shift in my days off I temp when I first wake up in th am and the nights I work I temp in the evening when i get up. Suprisingly the time difference has little to no effect on my bbt.
