I just started charting today with Just mommies chart. (Really, I just kind of drew up my own chart because I wanted it to be very, very cute. =D)

Anyhow, How I figured out where I am on the chart was that I took the last AF visit and counted the days from there. I am currently 38 days into my cycle by that figuring, but the chart ends at 40 days?

I am so confused!?! Maybe I am just dumb or something, but, my understanding is that you start a new chart when your period comes...Should I be expecting it in the next 2 days? Ahhhh, so confused! Would it just be easier to start when my period finally comes?

It would probably be best to wait until your period comes but you could keep doing it just to get used to taking your temp at the same time everyday. I use myfertilitycharts.com and a lot of girls use fertilityfriend.com to chart online. THOSE charts will extend out as long as your chart lasts. HTH

I would deffentaly wait to start charting next cycle . Are you going to temp ? I have used FF(fertility friend ) since I started charting and I love it .

Its has its issues but overall its great.

Do you know if you Od? How long are your cycle normally ? Cd38 is late for some women and you just might be prego . Have you tested or have any symptoms?

Sorry for all the questions lol It will help to figure out whats up .

Welll, unfortunately, yet fortunately, my dear AF came for her visit at the last second today. So, I suppose this means I will be starting a whole new chart! Which is really not a bad idea, I suppose.

So, since today was the first day of AF, should I be putting that as my first day on my cycle and progress from there?

Thank you for all of your input, ladies!

Should I still be taking my pre-natals?

Yes, the day AF comes is cycle day 1 (CD1 in the confusing pregnancy lingo). So you start a new cycle chart on Sept.9 as your CD1.

Why wouldn't you still be taking your pre-natals? Charting doesn't have any effect on that.

I was just curious if you guys still took prenatals on your AF, like I said, very new to all of this. Like. 2 days new.

So now, I'm in limbo. I want my period to just go away so that hubby and I can get to the good stuff for real! YAR! Driving a woman crazy!
