Im worried because my Basal temps are very low. mid 95's to low 96's before ovulation and mid 96's to high 96's after ovulation. The only symptoms of low thyroid I have are the low basal temps and my hands and feet get cold very easy. But I have always gotten pregnant very easily and my cycles are extremely regular with 30 days cycles most of the time and 1-2 off cycles a year usually from delayed O for some reason or another. If I had low thyroid would I get pregnant so easily and have such regular cycles. I know I should just get a test for it but we have no medical insurance now and I dont want to spend the money unless there is a good chance I could have this problem. Are low basal temps enough to be a sign of a low thyroid. I have always had such low temps even when I did BBT'ing 10 years ago.

If you get pregnant easily then I wouldn't worry about it. If you really want to get the testing done, go ahead but if you don't want to spend the money I would skip it, since it doesn't seem to be affecting your TTC.

I read the link. I just dont have any of those symptoms except the one I already said. I just saw someone else on a messege board who tested for low thyroid and their doctor said it can make the hormones irregular and harder to get pregnant. I always had such low temps and Ive been pregnant very easily 3 times.

I have hypothryoidism, and my temps are somewhat low, not too bad, but I am treated. I'm sure if I wasn't taking medicine to treat it they would be worse. If that's really the only symptom you have though, it may not be thyroid. It could just be some other hormonal imbalance. Being hypothyroid doesn't always make it hard to get pregnant, especially if you are subclinical. The only way to know for sure is to get the bloodwork done, but it is pretty expensive w/o insurance. You could just get hormonal bloodwork done first, like estrogen and progesterone levels. Those may not be as expensive as a thyroid panel is.

Ultimately you may just want to wait and see if any other symptoms develop or not. If you have always had low BBT, but had no trouble getting pregnant before, that may just be the way your body is. HTH!

Here are example of 2 of my charts. Do they look like typical Hypothyroid BBT charts. I havent been able to find any chart example for Hypothyroid to compare. I get the sets of lows and highs and ovulation is pretty obvious. Thank you for your opinions.
