Every month my chart is very classic looking with no off temps. I have the set of lows, get a positive ovulation test, than get my set of highs. I know this is suppose to mean I ovulate but is it 100% that I did based on this pattern. I mean that the egg actually came all the way out of its follicle.

I am concerned because I get pains in my ovaries even after ovulation all the way until AF starts and sometimes the pains are bad. I read that you can have cysts where the egg does not actually come out of the follicle and this can cause pain. If this is the case would I still get a temp rise.

Thank You to anyone who can help me

I'm not huge on O pains. I think they can get confused with GI issues more often then not (at least for me), but from what I think I've read, if you have a follicle like that, then you would have a thermal shift that would sustain past your normal LP. KWIM? If the corpus lutem is still there, then it would continue to produce progesterone and your thermal shift would sustain... HTH.
