Hi Mama's

I'm popping in from the WTTC/March 09
PR. I started charting this current cycle again after being pregnant/BFing for 18 months, it's my first "clean" cycle where i *shouldn't* have had extra hormones in my body from lactating/weaning/pregnancy. I previously charted for 4 months before getting pregnant with my DS on a NTNP month, go figure. The first round that I charted my charts were picture perfect, staggered low temps the first part of my cycle, dip at ovulation and then higher temps after ovulation until my period. After getting off BCP nearly 3 years ago my cycles regulated out to be 21-23 days long, ovulation at 16 or 17 days. Before charting my temps before ovulation would be in the high 96's or low 97's and then after ovulation they would jump to high 97's or low 98's. I've always seemed to have a lower basal body temp.
Charting this time around is just plain weird. It's up, it's down, and all over the place. i have no idea what my regular cycle is anymore hence why i'm charting so i can see where we need to be when we are ready to try for #2. It seems that my cycles are now closer to 30 days give or take a few days after just tracking the length after my pregnancy/BFing. I just mainly wanted to know if anyone else experienced a drastic change in cycles since pregnancy or breastfeeding. I mean I expected some change but not nearly as what as my first chart is showing. I'll link it so you can see what i mean. I've even changed the batteries in my thermometer and checked my temp between my thermometer that i use for charting and 2 other digital thermoms to make sure that it was accurate. I'm just scratching my head. Really because my temps have been so unreliable i've been going off my CF so i know i should be close to ovulating but not sure when. There is little to nil chance that i'm currently pregnant, lack of sex for one is a good predictor of that but even when we do DTD we always use a condom because we aren't ready for #2 quite yet. So unless one has been defective and leaked we should be in the clear on that issue.
Any ideas?
