Just keep at it until it becomes a habit. I don't track temps though, we follow a mucus-only system of fertility charting - so it only involves paying attention to the sensation produced by the CM while walking around during the day. It's such a habit now, I don't think I could ignore it even if I tried!

It's really become habit for me too. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is grab the thermometer.

I don't find it that hard to do. I keep my thermometer right beside my alarm and I grab it as soon as my alarm goes off. It's probably the easiest part of my day. Luckily I'm good at remembering so I can fall back asleep and still remember later. But if you have a problem with that you can keep a notepad by the bed and write it down.

Like the other ladies have said, just stick with it and before long it will be like second nature.

I agree it just becomes habit. I rarely forget a day now and its not that much work at all charting.

I haven't completed a full chart yet either, but I think it is really easy. I have a smart phone, so I use my phone as my alarm clock so I wake up at the same time every day (I don't work, and my son is older, so nothing to "get" me up every day), then I take my temp really quick and put the data onto FF with my phone so I don't have to remember anything. I usually have to pee really bad at that time anyway, so I would be getting up anyway. Then I just go right back to sleep. It doesn't even bother DH. It's a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The hardest part for me, is if I have to pee a long time before it's time for me to temp...having to hold it until my alarm goes off. HAHA!

I agree with the other ladies. I am not charting now but once you get in the habit, it just becomes something you do. It takes a while to get into a good routine but don't worry if you miss a day or two here and there. Even if you miss a temp, chart all your other signs and you should still be able to see a pattern.
