I have been charting for 8 cycles. I always O between CD 18-24, on average CD 21. I've read mixed opinions on whether O'ing this late will make it harder to conceive. My OB doesn't think that it is a problem. Who else Os around this time each cycle? Has it made it harder for you to conceive? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks so much!!

I have two kids, and both were very LONG cycles.

My first I O'd cycle day 33. second CD 27. You'll be fine! It's the same for us as everyone else, it just means you get less shots at it in a year. You need to time your BDing right, and you'll be just fine.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

I usually ovulate much, much later than that. It has not caused problems conceiving, we have 5 children. The earliest we've conceived was ovulation on day 23, the rest were much later....O as late as day 60 for one of them. Day 58 for another.

I usually ovulate between 18-22 with cycles that are about 30-35 days long. I asked my doc about it and he said 28-35 days was the norm for a cycle. He also said that all women are different and some people have longer than normal cycles, but that you know what is normal for your body. He said as long as you are regular and you have good pap tests, you shouldn't worry. As long as your OB doesn't think there is a problem, I wouldn't worry too much. I haven't TTC yet, but I'm not expecting it to be a problem. I hope this helps!

I usually have a 36 day cycle; give or take a few days. This is my first time charing and using an opk and I've found that I O'd on cd 22. After reading the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility (which I've found to be very interesting), this seems to be a normal thing! Hoping it worked this month!!!

I O between 17 and 24. (10 day LP as well) Hardly ever 17, most of the time 19+. Last cycle I O'd CD18, and did conceive. The 28 day cycle is average. Most cycles are longer or shorter.

Same here. I'm a late o'er, although I've o'ed early a few times, like cd14. Cd 15-19 is my usual. And then my lp is shorter than most ladies with 13 being the longest I've ever had...and 11 days my normal. But I'm very fertile...had five kids in 8 years. so it hasn't affected us badly anyway.
