Okay, here's a little back story. I started charting in June when I was WTTC. I've never *needed* to chart, as my body has always been really obvious about when it is ovulating (LOTS of ewcm and very PAINFUL pains the day of O). It was more of a curiosity thing to keep me busy while trying to convince my husband. We were just using condoms, but I'm latex sensitive and even the non latex ones bother me if we bd too often, so I decided to go on bcp (ortho tricyclen lo) for a while so I could just enjoy bd whenever we wanted and not having to worry about condoms. Then DH agreed to a date and I went off the pill a month early (I was only on bcp for 2 months).

Last cycle I clearly didn't ovulate. No ewcm, no real pains to speak of.

This month I had all my regular symptoms on cd 15 BUT my chart looks annovulatory. 2fba00 Ovulation Charts It's not a very pretty chart at all.

So my question is this: is it possible to have a your temps look annovulatory but still have ovulated?

It's my understanding the answer is no.

The reason you get a temp rise after O is because of the hormone changes, and your body ramping up to bake a baby. Therefore it's not possible to O without a temp change.

Also, sometimes it takes a few cycles to get normal after the pill. That's why lots of us don't use it...it can be very damaging.

Not to worry...keep temping and you will see yourself evening back out soon.

That's what I thought, but nobody I asked could tell me. Thanks for your response.
