I was always wondering about his before, so I thought I'd share what I've noticed this time around. Sites like FF say you can't really tell in early pregnancy, but I noticed a big difference with this cycle.
I'm 5+ weeks now, and for the past 2 weeks my cervix has alternated between "a little bit open" and "closed." I normally have a slight dimple in the middle of my cervix that appears right after O. Mucus plug, probably. This time instead of it being spongy, if was very firm. Almost hard. Around 7DPO I usually start to get a sticky-eggwhite type of cm. This time is was creamy or slightly sticky-creamy. My cervix didn't start to get soft and move high till about 20 DPO.
I was woken up in the middle of the night with a huge stitch on my right side around 8 DPO. Thought I was off and that might have been O, but I guess it was implantation. I didn't get one symptom besides my usual PMS till I was 5 weeks.
I wish I could show you a chart, but I decided to not chart this cycle, switched to NTNP. @ 17, 18, and 19 DPO, my temps were 98.5, 98.6, and 98.5. Those temps for me normally mean AF is on her way. I first tested @ 20 DPO, got a nice, dark BFP.
I hope this helps with anyone wondering about these as well. Not too many women have posted about cervical position or openness so I was always curious.
I usually O between CD 17 and CD 24. My LP is 10-11 days.
