I am breastfeeding and I know that often times that keeps away ovulation and AF but my baby goes 10-12 hours overnight every night so I'm wondering if that brought back a return to fertility sooner. Anyway, according to my temps, I ovulated 11 days ago. My question is does it look like a clear ovulation pattern to you? I took a test 3 days ago and it was BFN. And the only time we dtd during my fertile period was 3 days before. I'm wondering if/when I should test again, not knowing how long I should expect my LP to be. Not really feeling pregnant except for complete and utter exhaustion but I have 5 kids, 2 of which are under 2 so that could explain it. Anyway, not sure what to think. Whether or not I ovulated or if sperm would survive for 3 days. Just looking for someone to take a look and give me their opinions.

Going longer between feeds can bring fertility back, yes. It's also common while BFing for your body to attempt ovulation several times before it is successful. And yes, sperm can live up 5 days if cervical mucus is present at the time of BDing.

It's hard to say about ovulation though, there aren't enough temps to say for sure. The BFing hormones tend to make temps bouncier than usual, so a lot of up and down is normal. It's possible though. Have you been tracking CM at all? Have you noticed feeling very wet or slippery? If so, when?

If you did conceive, the test was probably negative because it was too early. A test will be accurate around 14 days after the suspected ovulation date.
