Just wondering what my chances are. We're NTNP with more emphasis on avoiding. We usually true to use protection during the fertile window. This month we slipped on CD10. I'm pretty positive I O'ed on CD15.

I had watery or EWCM all 5 days.

Do you think it is possible that I may be pregnant? Ideally I'd like to wait a couple more months to get pregnant, but any pregnancy is a blessing.

as long is it is there and isnt sper sticky (watery and egg white are both considered fertile) thats not to say you cant get pregnant without it. it just makes it a more hostile environment for the sperm. studies say they can live as long as 7 days in the right environment, so it is possible.

Actually, any kind of CM is potentially fertile. The earlier CM (moist, sticky, creamy, etc) has the capacity to lock sperm cells away in the crypts of the cervix for up to 5 days. The watery, slippery, lubricative CM closer to ovulation creates channels so the sperm can travel from the cervical crypts to the fallopian tubes.

Sticky CM (or any other kind) can only be considered infertile if it's been recognized as infertile discharge. It takes 3 cycles of careful charting to confirm that a particular observation is infertile. Each woman is unique. "Sticky" can be classified as infertile discharge (it's not cervical mucus) for some women and it's the early stages of CM production for others.
