Hope this is a good place to ask this....even though we're not TTC. Hoping for some insight/help.

I know bloody EWCM means you are most likely ovulating or may be implantation bleeding....but I've been having it for about a week now and a few days before. (the few days before it was weekly it was only once a day the blood tinged or streaked EWCM glob and now it's more than once a day...turning to more spotting brown color and not the red)

Should I be worried? Or is this normal? (I know it's not normal for me. While TTC #1 I barely had much EWCM and I only ever had bloody EWCM once!) I am breastfeeding my almost 3 month old- so thinking my hormones are still screwy and my body is trying to ovulate maybe?

have you had a full PP AF? You could still just be messed up and spotting from having your son, (our babies are nearly the same age) along with the discharge.

Before things settled down for me I had lots of cervical fluid all the time. (I had to wear liners and sometimes it was streaked too.

My personal feeling is just hormones.

Thanks- that's what I was leaning towards too, crazy hormones- since my milk supply is still fluctuating as well. Nope haven't had AF yet with #1 didn't have her until 7 months PP.

It's normal while BFing, as your body regains fertility. You can have several stop and start attempts at ovulation before it finally happens, or it might be happening now.

Also, if you're charting to avoid - don't hesitate to join us over at NFP and FAM. Several other PP BFing Moms over there right now.
