I seen a post in the Nov 08 about charting and I need help! I used to be apart of them, so I was lurking. I didn't have the internet for awhile after DS was born. Anyways, I am a new charter. I got my IUD removed in Sept after having it since Jan 09. I used to have nightmares about it puncturing my uterus, so I finally just said enough. Not to mention, the IUD made me CRAZY. Hormones, I swear....

I have FF. I have been guessing when I am fertile. DH and I have been avoiding and if I am not preggo this cycle, we will NTNP in April/May, avoiding until then. I don't know where to start. I know I need to take my temp, but I am kinda confused when I have to do it, etc.

hi and welcome.
Having fertility friend is a good start. You take your temp with a digital themometer than goes to one decimal. take it every morning at the same time say 6:00am or as close to as possibile, if your kids wake you up before say 5. take it then and enter in FF the temp and 5am.

it should be immediately. like dont get out of bed before taking it.

The idea is that as you get up and start moving around your temp rises more.
