What do you do if you miss a few days temping? I read somewhere to just fill it in but I have no idea what temps to put :/ I lost my thermometer for a few days ( this would have been the 2nd one to be eaten by my house lol) so I didn't get to temp those days. Here's my chart if it helps.. Thank you
Don't fill anything in, it's false data. Just pick up where you left off and keep an extra close eye on CM in case you don't have enough temp data to confirm ovulation. You can confirm ovulation with CM alone.
Really? I've had EWCM with no positive OPK the last 2 months. I was really hoping to get my chart up this month but not so sure that will happen now. Is there something specific to look for with the CM pattern to confirm? I keep thinking I'm going to O but have yet to get a positive OPK.
Yes, there is a specific pattern you'll need to look for. First, take note of what you feel as you walk around during the day. You can feel CM even if there isn't enough to see. Also, EWCM can show up any time your body tries to ovulate, even if ovulation is unsuccessful. When ovulation occurs, the CM will go through 3 stages. The CM will:
1. Develop and change over a matter of days (minimum 3)
2. Become slippery
3. Dry up abruptly
If it doesn't go through all 3 stages, then you would assume ovulation did not occur. If it does go through all 3 stages, ovulation occurs closest to the LAST day you notice a slippery feeling (with or without visible CM).
