So glad I found these boards! I have just started charting, hoping to TTC starting August. Well, I thought the whole temping thing would be a cake walk, but apparently not! My temperatures show no clear pattern whatsoever as far as I can see, and I'm hoping someone can point me towards what I may be doing wrong.
Anyways, here's what I've been doing: alarm set for 5:10 am every morning, wake up, reach over to nightstand and take temp before doing anything else (talking, moving, etc). I've been taking my temps orally, but I'm a mouth breather and I've heard this may affect it? Also, I used OPK's this cycle as well and got a positive OPK on CD22, pretty sure I ovulated on CD23 due to some light cramping that only lasted a half hour and the temp dip, followed by the spike the next day. However, as you can see my temperatures since then have not been consistent enough to confirm ovulation! I'm disappointed, as I thought I was doing things correctly but I have nothing to show for it. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks! I'm sure I'll be seeing you around lots in the coming months!

I'm sorry - to me it doesn't look like you ovulated because there's no sustained temp shift. It's possible to get a pos OPK and not ovulate, especially with hormonal issues like PCOS. Are your cycles regular?
