I'm not new to charting...I did it last year when ttc our son colton. while waiting for dh's vasectomy and for it to take, were doing nfp or fam (don't honestly know the difference) to prevent pregnancy. So I started charting about to weeks ago, maybe a little longer. I'm breastfeeding and I haven't had AF yet. Ds2 is only eight weeks old (two months tomorrow). So I temping at 7 am every morning (atleast 3 hours of uninterupted sleep) and tracking my cm. Welll, according to my cm and temps alone, I got my crosshairs today saying I'm 3 dpo! Of course dh and I dtd three days prior to this supposed O date so now were worried.
I'm new to charting after baby and without AF or a positive opk...how accurate do you think it is? I didn't take any opks...didn't think I was ovulating!

Here is my chart...It says March 29 but I haven't had a period yet. So the cycle days are kinda whatever. Hope that doesn't confuse anyone, lol.

Thanks!

I wish I could help but I don't know anything about post partum temps. I will say though that if you have a definite temp rise, then that shows ovulation so chances are, you did O. Can you post your chart so we can see and get a better idea?

The difference between NFP and FAM is that with NFP - you abstain on days that are classified as potentially fertile to eliminate the chance of conception. With FAM, you use a barrier or withdrawal or spermicides to reduce the chance of conception.

Unfortunately, FF doesn't let you track CM close enough for avoiding - just the basics for TTC. Most BFing Moms have infertile discharge that is a lot like CM. It takes 2 weeks of careful CM charting to determine what's infertile discharge and what is fertile CM for you, because every woman is unique.
