This is my first month charting and I have a quick question. I take my temp every morning as soon as my alarm goes off at 6:20. But the last few days I have been waking up earlier 2 and 3 times before my alarm. I took my temp the first time I woke up AND at 6:20. Usually they are the same anyway and I record the 6:20 time, but the other day it was 97.0 the first time I woke up, and then 97.4 at 6:20. I was surprised it was so different.
My question is, which one should I use? Is it better to always use the ones at the same time, or the one with no broken sleep? The 97.0 happened around 4am. I woke up again at 5 and 530 and then at 620 and got the 97.4.
what did you do when you woke up? did you get out of bed or just roll over and go back to sleep. If you just rolled over dont worry about it, dont temp and use your 620am temp. If you got up and moved around use the first one and record on your chart what time it was.
If you are using FF they will give you an open circle and take the time into account
