Hi, I'm new here. Married with DS 22 mos old and trying for #2. I charted with #1 but didn't have to for long. #2 has been a lot more complicated - I wasn't ovulating for a while and started charting again to see what was going on. I'm also using the clearblue fertility monitor. It looks like I ovulated thus month, but overall my temps seems low. I'm a paper charter so don't have them to link. If someone can suggest how to do that it may be helpful.

Before ovulation I had temps normally at 97.4 or 97.5. 97.5. I had a dip of 1/10 of a degree before ovulation but don't read too much into that. After ovluation (per the monitor) I've had temps at 97.8 or 9 each day. But these seems low when looking at other charts. And I seem to remember being in the 98s last time I charted. I know the duration of the elevated temp can indicate pregnancy. But does the height of the temp indicate pregnancy or non? I didn't have a third temp shift to a higher range last time. I'm on day 8 past ovulation.

Glad I found ya'll!

And thanks.

Check out my temps-you can clearly see the shift. That's the only thing that is important, as far as I know. I personally don't think the actual temp itself matters, just that it went up, proving you ovulated. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it. My normal temp goes from 97.20-97.54. So when I see it jump to 97.8 or around there (anything over 97.65) I know I ovulated, unless there are extenuating circumstance.

I know of a "triphasic" chart indicating pregnancy-where it's base temps, then post ovulation temps, then you see a third and sustained jump, but that can really go either way, as shown in my chart, where you see the jump-then the drop, so I know AF is probably on her way.

Good luck with everything, I have my FX'd for ya!

it is hard to understand without seeing them. 97's isnt a high temperature and it is more about the overall trend each cycle. I have seen pregnant and non pregnant triphasals.

Good luck hun
