It will be somewhat accurate but temping really seals the deal, so to speak.... Why would you not want to temp??

Sure, we use the Billings Ovulation Method, which is a type of CM charting. No temps are required and it's 99% effective. Over a million menstrual cycles have been studied to verify that (ladies had to get a blood draw every other day to confirm that the CM was an accurate indication of the what the ovarian hormones are doing).

The trick is leaning to interpret your CM patterns, so you know what each type of CM means for you. The best way is to learn from a certified charting instructor, who can walk you through it step by step. Every woman's CM patterns are unique.

Other types of CM charting include the Creighton Model (no temps required), and Family of the America's Ovulation Method.
