I am relatively new to the charting. Last month was the first month we really started TTC. I came off the BCP 5/30 and we started trying in July. For July I used OPKs and had 3 + results for July 21-23 leading me to believe I O'd at the earliest 23rd but more likely the 24th of July. I wasn't temping then but have started to this month.

So my question is, should I worry about the fact that FF is telling me I had a 9 day LP?
Here are a couple things I feel may be affecting this:

Could I have delayed O with strenuous exercise? I rode a 12 hour 160 mile bike ride on 7/16 (in 95 degree heat) which would have been more in the middle of my cycle when I should have O'd.

Maybe my body is still recovering from the 8 years of BCP and I'm not quite on a normal track yet.

I know it may be too soon to worry but from what I've read it seems most women's bodies adjust to a normal 12-14 LP even if O is delayed.

Prior to being on BC I never noticed anything odd with my cycles. I was very regular but have always had very light periods and still do.

Thoughts??

Thanks! I'll give that a shot. I've been taking a prenatal for about 2 months, maybe I can supplement that with the B6.

I had heard the same thing about B6. Temping will definitely make things a lot clearer and after a while, you should see a consistent pattern. If your LP continues to be short, I would call the doctor to see what can be done. Good luck!

My lp was a tad shorter than it was prior to taking bc pill right when i came off of it...that was 7 mos ago- not really ttc right now but i am curious to see what my lp is this month. I think it can take several cycles for things to get back to where they were pre- bc pill, so i wouldn't worry...
