So I dug around a bit to see what in the world was up with my see saw temps. I found some pretty angry reviews on the Walgreens site (I use the pink BBT thermometer from Walgreens), I also found a few forums with ladies having the same issues. Does anyone use the CVS brand? I thought about heading over there at lunch to pick up a new one.

I read so many conflicting reviews on all the readily available therms that I just ordered the highly recommended BD off of Amazon. 5 years and it's never done me wrong, or needed a new battery.

Although looking at your chart...your temps are not out of the norm in terms of variance? There's only a half a degree difference between the highest and lowest.

Maybe I will check that one out on Amazon too. My temps aren't super crazy but my concern was the see saw pattern and the same temps over and over again. I guess after reading all the bad reviews it made me really believe there was something up with it. I'm still new to charting so I wasn't sure what my chart should look like but the positive OPK with up/down temps threw me. Thanks for the info on the thermometer!

The + OPK is strange. It's one of those things where you have to get to the end of the cycle and look back to see if it was working or not, lol. Because if you get AF and you had the + OPK, but you don't have a temp shift, then there is a good chance something is wrong with your therm. But if you get a temp shift in a few days and the + OPK was just a false positive (which does happen) then the therm isn't a problem.

Lol, but all that said, I do REALLY recommend the BD one.
