For those of you that use OPKs

I would love some insight on my wacky cycle. This is my first cycle charting after going off BCP, so I already know everything is going to be kind of crazy. I am on cd44 today, and according to my FF chart, I still haven't ovulated. Today I had a major temp drop in fact, so it doesn't seem like I've o'd since going off the pill.

However, I have been using OPKs to help track my cycle that way too. On Tuesday, it looked positive. The two lines were the same color. Until that point, I hadn't gotten a positive opk at all since going off the pill. Wednesday, the test line was even darker than the control line, so I thought for sure I was going to O. Then yesterday, the line was back to about the same color as the control line, but not darker anymore. I haven't tested yet today, but it seems like my O surge would have been Wednesday or yesterday based on the OPK. Shouldn't I have seen a temp spike or at least an increase today? Instead, it dropped significantly.

Is there anyway I could have gotten a positive opk just because my cycle is so screwed up and I didn't really ovulate?

i am pretty sure that you can get a + opk and your body doesnt O successfully. If you did get a + opk.

After looking at you chart I agree that you havent Od yet. If you did have a positive OPK yesterday I think it means you should O in the next 12-24 or 24-48 hours. I forget which.

Hopefully after a few more days you will know if you Od.

have you bled at all since stopping your BC?

Hmm so odd. I am hoping it is just my body freaking out because of the bcp, but who knows. I had the normal withdrawal bleeding after stopping bcp at the end of August because I waited until I was at the end of my pack to stop. But I haven't gotten any kind of bleeding since then. Not even spotting. I went to the doc yesterday to see what was going on, especially since I have had heavy cramping, but no bleeding. He said it was just my body regulating, but I hadn't told him about the opks at all, so who knows. Guess I'll just watch and see what happens.
