This probably means nothing but I didn't notice it before.

It's my fourth day temping...my temp was at 36.66 (celsius) on day 1, then did a big dip, and has now been steadily climbing since yesterday. Today as it's plotted on the graph the dot it's plotted with is white (click ticker in siggy to see my chart). I just wondered if the white meant anything.

I'm on CD6 so I should not be anywhere near O yet and I'm pinning our hopes this month on O-ing bang on when I should next weekend since DP and I will be together all weekend!

I personally think it's because I'm full of a cold and my temp is rising due to that, and I have entered into FF that I'm ill, but is it thinking something else??

White circles just means that there are enough circumstances you recorded for you to not 100% trust that temp. It's helpful because you can still see it on your chart, but if a couple are out there, you can still make sense of your chart.

Agreed with Lucy. If you take your temp at a different time than the days around it, or if you note that you are sleep deprived, you will always get a white circle. Other conditions may affect it too.

aha. Totally makes sense. I'm guessing it's because I recorded illness yesterday and today then.
Thanks for the help ladies!

On my chart, the white dots have everything to do with the time I take me BBT. If there is even a half an hour difference of when I normally take it then I get the white dots. Good luck!

yeah I realised after that with it being weekend I was around 45 minutes later yesterday, and an hour later than that today. I would hate to give up my lie-ins when Daniel is with his dad. However next weekend I might set an alarm and get up at 7.45 to temp since it SHOULD be O weekend.

I now have two white dots and a temp spike that looks like I've O'd lol. I don't think I have - I have no EWCM and I usually get that - however I have been super horny which is the other symptom I usually get - but I'm only on CD7 I cannot possibly have O'd (even if I have we have covered the bases this weekend but still). I'm also sick with a cold/flu and imagine that the temp spike is part due to that really.

Do you girls think I should disregard today's and yesterday's temp based on different times and illness?
If I don't, will FF give me crosshairs now even though I know I can't possibly have O'd yet?? Or will it ignore because of the white dots?

FF won't give you crosshairs yet. I would use this website: Basal Body Temperature Adjuster - WhenMyBaby
to correct your temps if you wake up later. It's very handy and I use it to correct temps if I happen to wake early. GL!

i dont ever adjust my temperatures.

The open circles happen when you indicate any circumstance that can affect your temp, from the time you took it, being sleep deprived, or sick. Dont worry about them.

do you have temps for any day past Sunday^ It would be interesting to see what they show. I would wait, watch your CM and see what your temp does over the next few days, you havent Od yet.

Thanks ladies. I've been offline (made a separate post) - have still been temping, just unable to get on FF, have updated now. As I said in a previous post I think I'm going to O earlier than anticipated, and I can't do anything about it, because DP won't be here until weekend...

and Nina thanks for the website, I will use it if I temp at a different time again.
