i've done this before but i can't remember how it was over 4 years ago though.
how does ff spot ovulation? is it 4 raised temps in a row. does it need to be higher than all the rest cause my af temps where really high?

i'm not ttc just getting to know my body again. this is my first month charting again.
thanks in advance

It's okay if your AF temps are high... mine do the same thing. I think you want at least 6 temps leading up to O. So if your temps regulate prior to O, you should get an accurate coverline. Then after O, FF will give you crosshairs after three days of sustained higher temps.

FF also uses other indicators that you input on your chart, such as CM, + OPKs, etc., but temps are the big indicator.

Based on the info in your chart, I doubt FF will give you crosshairs tomorrow. There might not be enough indications of ovulation. If you had a +OPK or fertile CM, FF might give you crosshairs. It's just hard to tell this early on. How long are your cycles usually?

thanks hun i haven't started opks yet and i haven't been checking cm but i usually notice ewcm i haven't seen it yet. but i wanted to try temp with out ewcm because i'm gonna start girl diet it will reduce cm and i might not able to relie on it.
my cycles are usually 29-30 so i shouldn't ov yet but stranger things have happened. i should ov today or tommorrow.

so will ff not show cross hairs without cm?

FF will still show CH's if you get a thermal shift, even with the CM.

A lot of women don't see much CM and that's normal for them. You can still monitor CM by paying attention to how you feel when you walk around during the day. If you ever notice feeling wet or lubricated between the legs and you're not sure why, that's the CM! There might not even been enough to see anything, but the nerve endings around the genital area are so sensitive you can feel microscopic amounts of CM as a wetness. If there's enough to feel, there's enough to conceive with.
