A comment in another thread got me to thinking...

How did you deal with charting and the time change?

I still temped at 6am according to the clock, but I adjusted it down .2 degrees. It was during AF, so it really won't matter much in the grand scheme of things.

I didn't, i am just starting and my temp and times have been all over the place anyways so I wasn't going to do any crazy adjustments, if anything i may just discard the day since it was my first day temping. I know TCOYF discarded it for me, FF didn't but meh, we'll see what happens.

good luck ladies. Brianna, can you set an alarm to try to temp at the same time?

I do have an alarm on my phone next to my bed for 5:15am every morning. Lately I keep waking up before my alarm because I have to pee or I am uncomfortable, 3:30 am on Sunday, 4am today, 5am yesterday! If I consistently undersleep my alarm I may just have to keep moving the temp time earlier, but that will SUCK on the weekend. Lately since I know I am early and know I wont get another 3 hours sleep before I have to get up for work I temp anyways. I am hoping I can get into a sleep rhythm or drink less before bed so I stop waking up!

I just did it. No adjusting. I don't think it made any difference because my sleeping is pretty erratic anyway.

bellabri, you might be waking because you're anxious about temping. I think that as you go along, you'll find that you start waking up normally again. I did that too.

I'm one of those lucky people who's temps aren't very affected by temping an hour early or late, so I didn't even think twice about it. It didn't appear to make any difference.

I'm glad you posted this bc I was wondering how everybody has been dealing with it! Instead of 6am, I'm now testing at 5am.... it's not fun at all! I try to go back to sleep...but it doesn't usually happen for me!!!

No need to keep waking up an hour early for the rest of the cycle. Your body has most likely adjusted to the time change by now.
