So I finally ovulated!! After 78 days of being off bcp, lol! The problem that I am having, however, is that my FF chart and my TCOYF charts say I o'ed on different days. FF shows me Oing on Monday. However, that was the first day I even received a positive OPK (in the evening). I also got a +OPK on Tuesday. TCOYF shows that I O'ed yesterday, which would make more sense regarding my OPKs.

However, I think FF is showing my O as on Monday because I had a temp dip that day. I'm not sure what to think, and would love some insight from you experienced charters.

Here is my FF chart. I don't know how to shared my TCOYF one, but it showed O yesterday.
My Ovulation Chart

Again, would love some insight! Thanks, ladies!

Even with a positive OPK, there's not a guarantee that you will ovulate after it. I see a slight thermal shift, but it's not a strong one, so I don't know if I would trust it yet, especially since you are still having fertile CM. Do you still feel slippery?

Hmm good point. Yes, i am still having EWCM today. I thought that was strange, but wasn't sure if I was just misreading the sign. So even though FF has crosshairs, does that mean my O date could change?

Yes, it will change it if you enter data that suggests a different O day. Also, your lines are dotted, which means FF isn't all that sure of your O day. As for TCOYF, for whatever reason, it always thinks you O after a positive OPK (which I find ironic because the book isn't a big fan of them). My suggestion would be to take off your OPK, and see if TCOYF still has you ovulating. Since you are TTA, I'd suggest still considering yourself fertile until your CM dries up and you have a clearer thermal shift.

Ahh brilliant! Good suggestion. That did take the O off TCOYF. Weird. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Thanks a ton for your help!

LIke the previous poster mentioned, you can't confirm O until you have 3 temperatures higher than the previous 6 and the CM has dried up. That said, FF is known for giving wacky interpretations. Ovusoft is much more accurate because it's based on actual science about fertility and charting. FF is based on a bit o' this and a bit o' that. LOL

Tcoyf will change your O date once you have 3 days of high temps. If you look at the calendar view, it will sometimes show Ovulation(OPK) and then another day might show Ovulation(FAM). When it does that for me, it moves the ovulation date on my chart to the FAM date. The dotted crosshairs on FF mean that you have conflicting fertility signs so it's not sure on your O date. Hope that helps a little!

If you are TTA I would avoid until you arent wet/slippery anymore
